Configure Your Workspace
Customize your workspace, set up your company name, and manage custom fields.
What is the workspace?#
The workspace is your company's space within Zero Bad Leads. It contains all settings, integrations, leads, and team members. Each account has one main workspace.
General settings#
Access settings
In the sidebar menu, click Settings (gear icon). You will be taken to the workspace settings page.
Company details
Update the basic information:
- Company name: the name that appears in the workspace and reports
- Website: your company's main domain
Click "Save" to confirm the changes.
Configure custom fields
Go to the Custom Fields tab to manage the extra fields you want to capture from your leads beyond the native fields.
Native fields (always available):
- Phone
- First Name / Last Name
- Company
- Job Title
- Source
- Tags
Custom fields are created automatically when the platform receives an unrecognized field, or you can create them manually.
Custom field limits by plan#
Each plan has a different custom field limit:
| Plan | Custom Fields |
|---|---|
| Starter | 10 fields |
| Pro | 25 fields |
| Scale | Unlimited |
When the limit is reached, new unrecognized fields will be ignored. The lead data will still be saved in native fields, but the extra field will be discarded. Consider upgrading your plan if you need more fields.
Managing custom fields#
On the custom fields page, you can:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Create field | Define the name, type (text, number, date, boolean), and description |
| Edit field | Change the name or description of an existing field |
| Delete field | Remove fields that are no longer needed |
| Reorder | Drag to organize the display order |
Give custom fields clear and descriptive names. For example, use "Annual Revenue" instead of "field1". This makes mapping easier in outbound integrations.
Team members#
Team member management will be launched soon. Currently, each workspace supports only the user who created the account. The member limits per plan (Starter: 1, Pro: 5, Scale: unlimited) are already defined and will be enforced when the feature becomes available.
Next steps#
With your workspace configured, you can:
- Set up your scoring profile to define qualification criteria
- Configure a webhook to start receiving leads
- Understand field mapping to ensure your data arrives correctly
