Configure scoring profile
Learn how to configure your ideal lead profile using AI conversation or ready-made templates.
What is the scoring profile?#
The scoring profile defines how the AI evaluates your leads. It contains the criteria that describe your ideal lead: which business segment, which job title, which region, which signals indicate the lead has purchase potential.
Without an active scoring profile, the platform still performs technical verifications (email, phone, CNPJ, IP), but AI Scoring is not executed.
You need at least one active scoring profile for full qualification to work. Without one, leads will be saved but will not receive an AI score.
Two ways to create a profile#
You can create your scoring profile in two ways:
| Method | Best for | Time |
|---|---|---|
| AI conversation | Those who want to customize from scratch | 3-5 minutes |
| Ready-made template | Those who want to get started quickly with an industry model | 1-2 minutes |
Path 1: AI conversation#
Access qualification
In the sidebar menu, click Qualification. If you don't have an active profile yet, you'll see the "Create scoring profile" button.
Start the conversation
Click "Create with AI". An interactive chat will open where the AI will ask questions about your business.
The conversation covers topics such as:
- What is your business segment?
- What is your ideal customer profile (ICP)?
- Which job titles have decision-making power?
- Which region do you serve?
- What company size is ideal?
- What signals indicate a hot lead?
Describe your ideal lead
Answer the AI's questions with as much detail as possible. The more information you provide, the more accurate the generated profile will be.
Example response:
"We are a digital marketing agency focused on aesthetics and dental clinics in Sao Paulo and surrounding areas. The ideal lead is the clinic owner or marketing manager, with revenue above R$ 50k/month. Leads with corporate email and active CNPJ are a priority."
Don't worry about formatting. The AI understands natural language and automatically extracts the relevant criteria from your description.
Review the generated criteria
After the conversation, the AI generates a set of structured criteria. Review each one:
| Dimension | Example criterion |
|---|---|
| Prioritize corporate domains, penalize free emails | |
| Phone | Require valid phone with SP area code |
| Company | Health/aesthetics segment, small to medium size |
| Job title | Owner, director, marketing manager |
| CNPJ | Active status, primary activity in healthcare |
| IP | Penalize VPNs and proxies |
| Custom signals | Revenue above R$ 50k, metropolitan area |
You can edit, remove, or add criteria before activating.
Activate the profile
When you're satisfied with the criteria, click "Activate profile". The profile takes effect immediately and all new leads will be evaluated by it.
Only one scoring profile can be active at a time. When you activate a new profile, the previous one is automatically deactivated (but not deleted).
Path 2: Ready-made template#
Access the template gallery
On the Qualification page, click "Use template". The template gallery will be displayed with 14 options organized by industry.
Choose a template
Browse the templates and choose the one that best matches your business. Each template shows:
- Segment name and description
- Pre-configured criteria
- Weight for each dimension
See all available templates at Scoring templates by industry.
Customize the template
After selecting a template, you can customize the criteria before activating:
- Adjust weights: increase or decrease the importance of each dimension
- Edit criteria: modify criteria to fit your specific case
- Add criteria: include extra signals that are important for your business
- Remove criteria: delete criteria that don't apply
Templates are a starting point. Customize them based on your experience with previous leads for more accurate results.
Activate the profile
Click "Activate profile" to start using the customized template. New lead qualification will use these criteria immediately.
Evaluation dimensions#
The scoring profile organizes criteria into dimensions. Each dimension contributes to the lead's final score:
| Dimension | What it evaluates | Default weight |
|---|---|---|
| Corporate vs. free domain, validity | 15% | |
| Phone | Valid format, target region area code | 10% |
| Company | Segment, size, location | 25% |
| Job title | Decision-making level, relevance | 20% |
| CNPJ | Active status, economic activity | 10% |
| IP | Risk, proxy, VPN | 5% |
| Custom signals | Criteria specific to your business | 15% |
The weights are suggestions. You can redistribute them according to the importance of each dimension for your business. The total must add up to 100%.
Editing an active profile#
You can edit a profile that is already active:
- Go to Qualification in the sidebar menu
- Click "Edit profile" on the active profile
- Make the necessary changes
- Click "Save and reactivate"
Changes take effect immediately for new leads. Already-qualified leads are not automatically reprocessed.
Resetting to draft#
If you want to completely rethink your profile:
- Go to Qualification in the sidebar menu
- Click "Deactivate profile"
- The profile returns to draft status
- You can edit freely and reactivate whenever you want
While no profile is active, leads continue to be received and technically verified, but they do not receive an AI score. Reactivate or create a new profile as soon as possible.
