How to Connect RD Station CRM

Step-by-step guide to integrate RD Station CRM with Zero Bad Leads and send qualified leads.

Prerequisites#

  • An RD Station CRM account
  • Admin access in RD Station CRM
  • An active scoring profile in Zero Bad Leads

Connect RD Station CRM#

Access Outbound Integrations

In the sidebar, click Send Leads. Find the RD Station CRM card and click "Integrate".

Authorize via OAuth

You will be redirected to RD Station to authorize the connection. Log in to your account and click "Authorize".

Zero Bad Leads requests permissions to create contacts and opportunities in RD Station CRM. The authorization can be revoked at any time in the RD Station settings.

Configure the integration

After authorizing, you will return to Zero Bad Leads. Configure:

  • Integration name: give it a descriptive name (e.g., "Main RD Station CRM")
  • Action: choose between creating a Contact, Opportunity, or both

Select funnel and stage

If you chose to create opportunities, select:

  • Funnel: choose the sales funnel where opportunities will be created
  • Stage: select the initial stage for the opportunity

RD Station CRM calls stages "etapas" and pipelines "funis". Create a specific stage like "Qualified Lead - ZBL" to make identification easier.

Configure field mapping

Map Zero Bad Leads fields to RD Station CRM fields:

Activate and test

Activate the integration and click "Send test lead". Check in RD Station CRM that the contact and/or opportunity were created correctly.

Dispatch filters#

Configure filters to control which leads are sent:

  • Minimum score: send only leads with a score above a threshold
  • List: send only leads from specific lists
  • Fields: filter by specific field values

Automatic retry#

If the dispatch fails, Zero Bad Leads automatically retries:

After 5 unsuccessful attempts, the lead is marked as "error" in the logs.

Troubleshooting#

"Token expired" or authentication error: Zero Bad Leads automatically renews OAuth tokens. If the error persists, disconnect and reconnect the integration.

Duplicate contact created in RD Station: RD Station CRM identifies contacts by email. If the email already exists, the existing contact is updated with the new data.

Opportunity created without a value: The opportunity value depends on a field being mapped to the value field. If no field is mapped, the opportunity is created with a zero value.

Funnels or stages not showing in the configuration: Make sure the funnels are active in RD Station CRM. Click the refresh button to reload the available options.

If you change the funnel structure in RD Station CRM (rename or delete stages), the integration may stop working. In that case, edit the integration configuration and select the correct funnel and stage again.
